RC3 shotshells utilize super-tempered lead with the hardness of 7% antimony. RC doesn't add any excess antimony because it makes the shot lighter—and less hard-hitting at distance. It retains more energy at extended ranges for more reliable hits.

RC3 shells are nearly identical to RC2, but feature a higher 16mm brass head, denser shot, and better propellant that burns ultra-fast, allowing for a fractionally smaller charge for slightly lower recoil.
